The amazon short suit is a derivation of the mans outfit.   The rider who rides in a “guayabera” or short jacket can wear traditional breeches riding astride but has to change to an amazona skirt when riding sidesaddle. In Spain there are strict rules to dress when riding, Amazon riders must be elegant and distinguished in the world of riding.
